In the Krasnoyarsk Regional Hospital, a specialized department began to work for the treatment of patients with lymphomas, said the deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the region Ilya Zaitsev.
The new department uses the most modern methods of therapy and select individual treatment for each patient. For this, doctors conduct a molecular genetic analysis of the tumor. New generation preparations are also used, which pointedly attack cancer cells.
Thanks to the participation of the hospital in clinical research and in early access programs, patients can receive medicines that have not yet been registered in Russia, but their effectiveness has already been proven.

The department is designed for 30 patients. And in the coming days, a hematological center will open in the regional hospital, which will combine a day hospital for 20 beds and two round -the -clock departments – by 55 and 30 beds.
Now experts set themselves the task of establishing bone marrow transplantation in Krasnoyarsk for adults. So far, patients who need surgery go to Moscow and other cities.
