The billionaire is included in the sanctions lists of the EU, USA, Canada, Switzerland, Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand and Japan, as indicated in his profile on the website created by Ukrainian military intelligence.
Officially, the yacht does not belong to Mordashov, but to a company registered to his wife, notes the BBC. The ship arrived in Muscat on the morning of April 26 and moored at the yacht anchorage. Nord left Dubai on the evening of April 24.
The broadcaster points out that this happened after Russia and Iran held high-level negotiations this week.
