A married couple from Krasnoyarsk will be tried for trying to sell about 9 grams of methadone in Kansk.

The police found out that in March, through a messenger, the woman received an offer from an unknown person to work as a retail courier in an online store of prohibited substances. She not only agreed, but also employed her husband. Their tasks included receiving drug shipments, packaging and delivery to populated areas.

“In April, Krasnoyarsk residents with 46 doses arrived on a business trip to Kansk, where, without being embarrassed by daytime, they immediately set off with a small amount of goods to get acquainted with the city and carry out their task. Having successfully dropped the first 5 bookmarks, they returned to the house in which they had rented an apartment, and they also decided to make a hiding place near it. The couple was detained while they were sending a photo report to the employer,” the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs said.

The police seized all the drug traffic brought in.

For attempting to sell a synthetic opioid, a multi-episode criminal case was opened against Krasnoyarsk residents under Part 3 of Art. 30, part 4 art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and taken into custody. The investigation has now been completed.
