A new air terminal has opened in the village of Vanavara, Evenki Municipal District.

The new building was assembled using modular technology and meets the requirements of comfort and safety. The airport terminal is accessible for passengers with limited mobility and for people with children. The total area of ​​the building is 567 square meters.

According to Komsomolskaya Pravda – Krasnoyarsk, Vanavara Airport has been operating since 1948 and remains the only year-round transport for residents of the village. The old terminal building was built back in 1956.

Cargo transportation runs through the airport, ambulance flights are carried out to provide emergency medical care, children from small villages are delivered to boarding schools, and food is delivered to remote villages. Passenger traffic in 2025 amounted to almost 11 thousand people.
