In anticipation of the summer holidays, the number of applicants is increasing. The police clarified how the registration deadlines may change, writes Yamal 1.
If you apply at your place of residence, your passport will be issued within a month. If at the place of stay or actual application – three months in advance.
You can submit an application through the Gosuslugi portal, but you will still have to personally visit the Ministry of Internal Affairs office twice: first to provide original documents and submit biometrics, and then to receive a completed passport.
The police advised applicants not to leave their application until the last minute.
