PiS's recipe for the housing crisis. Fixed loan installments are intended to encourage young people to start families

Low fertility rate is already a collapse, cities are depopulating – PiS vice-president Przemysław Czarnek said on Sunday during a meeting with the inhabitants of Piotrków Trybunalski. – Start a family – he appealed to young people.

Przemysław Czarnek, vice-president of Law and Justice and the party's candidate for the future prime minister of the government, met with residents on Sunday in Piotrków Trybunalski (Łódź Voivodeship).

Answering questions about Poles' housing problems, Czarnek referred to demographic data in Poland. He said that low fertility rate means a collapse, and cities are depopulating. He mentioned that since 2000, 20 out of 80 thousand people have died in Konin. inhabitants.

One of the young people present at the meeting asked about an idea for solving problems with the availability of housing for young people. Czarnek replied that housing policy undoubtedly affects starting families and fertility, but housing is not everything.

– Before you fulfill your plans – finish your studies, buy a flat, you are 40 or older and it's over. Start a family now. You won't survive without your families, even if you have six apartments. If our grandparents and parents had postponed the decisions about starting a family and giving birth to us, there would be almost no one in this room – said Czarnek.

He stated that PiS has a plan to overcome the housing crisis. The idea is to change the rules for home lending to introduce fixed loan installments and for the family to know what their costs are and be able to plan their budget. He also mentioned the need to develop cooperative housing and other ways of gaining a roof over one's head without buying a flat.

The special guest of the Piotrków meeting with Przemysław Czarnek was Sławomir Cenckiewicz, former head of the National Security Bureau. He admitted that he came to Piotrków to support Przemysław Czarnek – so that he could gain power for Polish patriots.

Referring to the anniversary of the death of Major Henryk Dobrzański “Hubal” (April 30), he quoted his words: “I will not give up my weapon, I will not take off my uniform.”

– Przemysław Czarnek is the heir to these words – said Cenckiewicz. – He achieved a lot in life, maybe even everything. He has a life outside politics, and yet he got involved to regain power from the anti-Polish government. When I told the president that I wanted to get involved on Przemek's side, Karol Nawrocki told me: Yes, Przemek should be supported – said Cenckiewicz. (PAP)
