– Too much happened and there is one application. We must be vigilant, we must strengthen our own defensewe must strengthen cooperation with our neighbors and allies, as well as within the European Union – said the Finnish prime minister, commenting on the last incidents in the Baltic Sea region, including the invasion of Russian drones deep into Poland, violating the aerial space by Russian Migs over Estonia and the presence of drones over airports in the capitals of Denmark and Norway.

The head of the Finnish Ministry of Defense Antti Hakkanen, in turn, pointed out that the Russians conduct long -term, uninterrupted, active air and maritime activity in the Baltic Sea region.

There is no dramatic change here, although drones have given (security situations) a new dimension – he admitted, quoted by “Helsingin Sanomat”.

According to him, it is absolutely obvious that Russia conducts a kind of hybrid campaign to influence the West. “He has been doing it for 20 years, and after the war in Ukraine, it will probably strengthen this activity” – said. (PAP)
