Macierewicz will lose immunity? The commission recommended the repeal

The parliamentary regulations, parliamentary and immunity matters recommended on Monday the revocation of the immunity of PiS MP Antoni Macierewicz. The prosecutor intends to prosecute PiS politician, that as the head of the Smolensk subcommittee he revealed top -down secret information.

The application regarding consent to send Macierewicz to criminal liability was forwarded to the Sejm at the beginning of July, the then Prosecutor General Adam Bodnar, who informed that the prosecutor intends to make a PiS MP. The closed meeting of the regulatory committee began on Monday after 16 and lasted about 2 hours. As deputy chairman Łukasz Osmalak (Polska2050-TD) told journalists, the Commission will recommend to the Sejm to repeal immunity to Macierewicz. He added that on Tuesday during a secret sitting of the Sejm, a report on the committee meeting will be presented.

Macierewicz assessed in an interview with journalists that he was “shocking for him, that media representatives, honest MPs constantly support Putin and the Smolensk crime.” – What's more, they would lie about the fact that I published some secret information in a situation where special services agreed to publish it – emphasized PiS MP.
