US President Donald Trump was evacuated by the Secret Service from a dinner with White House correspondents during which shots were fired. According to the media, the suspect opened fire in the hotel lobby and was captured by the services.
Polish diplomat Bogdan Klich was also present in the room and reported the entire incident in an interview with TVN24. — The reaction of the dinner participants was immediate. Everyone fell to the ground, some managed to hide under the tables. This is probably practiced in a country where, unfortunately, there is very wide access to weapons, said the chargé d'affaires.
— It is too early to judge what the attacker's intentions were. We don't know the details. The bomber was detained, but not shot by the services. There were a lot of journalists in the room, so the topic will be discussed further. Such things would not happen in Europe. This exceeds all limits – said Bogdan Klich.
