US President Donald Trump bought bonds with an estimated value of between 51 and 161 million dollars in March, issued by both public authorities and companies, reports Reuters.

According to data presented by the US Office of Government Ethics, Trump made 175 financial transactions in the previous month. The data does not specify the exact value of each transaction, but only their value ranges.

Most purchases consisted of buying bonds issued by US states, counties and other government entities or by public-private partnerships.

The 26 largest deals, in the $1,000,000-$5,000,000 range, were primarily municipal or Treasury bonds, with corporate bonds issued by Weyerhaeuser and General Motors.

Trump has also bought bonds issued by energy, technology, healthcare and financial services companies such as Constellation Energy, Occidental Petroleum, Broadcom, Nvidia, Meta Platforms, Microsoft and Wall Street banks Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase and Boeing.

The maximum value of Trump's bond purchases in the previous month is estimated by Reuters at $161,000,000.
