Top of the cheapest beaches in Europe. Some are close to Romania

The most affordable summer destinations in Europe were included in a ranking made by hoppa experts, who mainly analyzed the cost of accommodation in three-star hotels. Greece, Croatia and Portugal dominate the top as tourists look for sunny but budget-friendly holidays.

Specialists recommend booking in advance, to avoid the high prices of plane tickets in high season, notes the Daily Mail.

1. Faliraki Beach (Rhodes, Greece)

The most affordable destination on the list, with prices around 42 euros per night. The area is ideal for holidays in the sun, with average temperatures above 25°C and very few rainy days in summer.

2. Kašjuni Beach (Split, Croatia)

With rates from 66 euros, the beach is appreciated for its clear water and peaceful atmosphere, being suitable for relaxation and snorkeling.

3. Bačvice Beach (Split, Croatia)

At the same price level, Bačvice offers a livelier atmosphere, known for its nightlife and high number of hours of sunshine.

4. Praia de Faro (Algarve, Portugal)

Hotels start from around 69 euros, and the beach is appreciated for its quick access and stable weather conditions.

5. Praia da Rocha (Algarve, Portugal)

Another option in the same region, famous for its spectacular cliffs and long beaches.

6. Kolovare Beach (Zadar, Croatia)

One of the sunniest destinations in the top, with almost 13 hours of sunshine per day and similar prices, around 69 euros.

7. Agia Marina Beach (Crete, Greece)

With hotels around 70 euros, this beach offers fine sand and numerous facilities for tourists.

8. Platanias Beach (Crete, Greece)

An alternative in the same area, with similar prices and accessible sunbeds, from around 8 euros for two people.

9. Myrtos Beach (Kefalonia, Greece)

Known for its spectacular scenery, with high cliffs and turquoise water, at an average cost of 72 euros per night.

10. Praia da Falésia (Algarve, Portugal)

Famous beach for red rocks and boardwalks, with rates around 74 euros.

11. Tamariz Beach (Cascais, Portugal)

Last on the list, but easily accessible, being located near a train station and offering accommodation at similar prices.

The ranking shows that there are many options for affordable holidays in Europe, especially if planning is done in advance.
