The US ambassador responded to the Polish Prime Minister

Earlier, the US ambassador to Poland, Thomas Rose, commented on the matter. “The United States has been financing the security of Europe with blood, money and presence for 80 years. Since the end of World War II, millions of Americans have served in Europe. Our taxpayers have spent over $13 trillion on its defense. This year, the United States will spend over $100 billion on the defense of Europe. Over 100,000 American soldiers serve in Europe, including 9,000 in Poland,” he emphasized.

The diplomat noted that “since the end of the Cold War, no country has proven to be a stronger ally of America than Poland, and no country has benefited to a greater extent from US military support.” “The commitment to Poland is unwavering, unwavering and fully deserved. America is proud to stand with Poland because Poland has always stood by its side. Yes, America is loyal to its allies. But we also ask, are our allies as loyal to us as they expect us to be?” he asked.
