In March 2026, training in AI skills for 60 teachers from 37 schools in the region began in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Training is conducted in an online format.
It was organized by Sber, the Algoritmika school of programming and mathematics (part of the Sber ecosystem) and the Ministry of Education of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
As part of the educational program, school teachers will master working with the GigaChat AI assistant: they will learn to create useful messages for educational tasks and use AI technologies to generate texts and images.
“Sber in Krasnoyarsk is actively sharing its expertise and knowledge in the use of artificial intelligence technologies to improve the level of competencies of teachers and students,” said Alexander Nuikin, manager of the Krasnoyarsk branch of Sber. — In modern realities, it is necessary to master digital skills, improve professional level, and keep up with the times. Today's students are those who in the future will be able to influence the digital transformation of the region as a whole. Learning to use AI tools is a critical contribution to preparing younger generations for a digital future.”
It is planned that at the beginning of the new school year, trained teachers will begin teaching courses on working with artificial intelligence tools for students in grades 5 and 7 of secondary schools in the region.
“The introduction of artificial intelligence technologies into the educational process for schoolchildren, students and teachers is an urgent need,” noted Alena Minochkina, head of the public sector department at Algorithmika. “Algorithmics is comprehensively developing education in this direction; starting from September 2026, as part of joint projects with the government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and Sberbank, 7,350 students in grades 5 and 7 and more than 150 teachers from schools in the region will have the opportunity to learn artificial intelligence tools, strengthen digital skills and be able to effectively integrate them into the educational process.”
