Nicușor Dan does not accept a minority government with the support of the AUR, neither from the PSD nor from the PNL
President Nicușor Dan declared, on Friday, after the EU summit in Cyprus, that in the hypothetical situation where PNL or PSD will come to him and say they want a minority government, with the support of the AUR party, he will not agree.

President Nicușor Dan was asked what he would do in the event of a PNL-AUR coalition or a PNL supported in Parliament by AUR.
“I think the answer is the same. At the same time, I think it is extremely unlikely that this request will reach me”he said, write News.
Regarding the fact that PNL has already started negotiations with some of the opposition parliamentarians, including those from AUR, Nicuşor Dan said:AUR has many flaws, but it is still a party. I can't imagine that, in a voting situation in the Parliament, the AUR MPs will not respect the party's record”.
“In the hypothetical situation in which PNL or PSD will come to me and say that we want a minority government with the support of the AUR party, I will not agree to this”, the head of state mentioned.
AUR leader George Simion conveyed the formation conditions for the parties in the coalition that broke: Parliament with 300 elected members, giving up party subsidies and electing mayors and presidents of the CJ in two rounds.

Renunciation of subsidies for political parties. Election of mayors and presidents of County Councils in two rounds.
