Israel is waiting for the green light from the US to bring Iran to the “stone age”, says the defense minister
Israel is “ready” to resume war against Iran and is waiting for the green light from the United States to bring Iran into the “stone age”, Defense Minister Israel Katz said in a video message broadcast on Thursday, according to AFP.
American President Donald Trump announced on Tuesday a unilateral and indefinite extension of the truce between the United States and Iran, which entered into force on April 8, and to which Israel complied, to allow negotiations with Tehran, notes Agerpres.
The Israeli military “is ready, both defensively and offensively, and the targets (in Iran) have been set,” Katz said.
“We are waiting for the green light from the United States, first of all to complete the elimination of the Khamenei dynasty,” the Israeli minister added, referring to Mojtaba Khamenei, appointed supreme leader to succeed his father, Ali Khamenei, who was killed on March 28, as well as “to bring Iran into the dark age and into the stone age by destroying key energy and electrical facilities and destroying the national economic infrastructure.”
“This time, when the attack resumes, it will be different and deadly, adding devastating blows to the most sensitive points, after the colossal blows already suffered by the Iranian terrorist regime, which will shake and tear down its foundations,” Katz said in the video message.
