A woman of foreign nationality died after falling from the electric scooter, on a boulevard in the Capital

A 35-year-old woman of foreign nationality lost her life in an accident on Friday on Unirii boulevard in the capital, after falling from an electric scooter, on which she was riding with another person.

“On April 24, around 4:55 p.m., the Road Brigade was alerted via SNUAU 112 regarding the occurrence of a traffic accident that took place on Unirii Blvd. From the information available at this time, two persons of foreign nationality were traveling with an electric scooter on Unirii Blvd., and when they arrived in front of the building with no. 35, under circumstances that will be established after the completion investigations, they would have lost control over the direction of travel, at which point they fell on the pavement”, states the Capital Police, quoted by Agerpres.

Following the traffic accident, one of the people on the electric scooter, a 35-year-old woman, was transported to the hospital, where, despite the efforts of the medical staff, she died.

The investigations are being continued by the policemen of the Road Brigade in order to accurately establish the causes and circumstances in which the accident occurred.
