The Ukrainian group from the Ivano-Frankivsk region “Grindzholi” represented Ukraine at Eurovision 2005 with the song “Together we are rich, we cannot be beaten”, taking 19th place out of 24. The TSN editors explained why the band no longer tours and what its members are doing now.
The frontman of the group, Roman Kalin, lives in Ivano-Frankivsk. In a conversation with a journalist, he admitted that the group broke up long ago, and almost all of its members live abroad.
Kalin himself produces the Ukrainian artist Sergei Lazanovsky, the winner of the “Voice of the Country” show on “1+1”.
According to Kalin, although the band itself has not been touring for a long time, it has a concert planned in May.
