In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a court fined the head of a kindergarten for using low-quality meat.

The press service of the regional prosecutor's office recalled that at the end of 2023, photographs and videos appeared in parent chats in Minusinsk in which cooks at kindergarten No. 19 “Khrustalik” processed meat with a green tint and an unpleasant odor. A batch of beef weighing over 150 kg had obvious signs of poor quality: a sour smell, a slimy structure and a greenish tint. Despite this, the head of the kindergarten gave instructions to prepare dishes from this meat in accordance with the menu and serve them to the children. The conclusion of the sanitary and epidemiological examination showed that such actions could lead to mass poisoning and posed a threat to the life and health of students and staff,” the supervisory agency said.
