On Children's Day – June 1, on NordStar flights from Norilsk to Moscow and from Krasnoyarsk to Moscow, a real air holiday was organized for young passengers – “Crew Assistant”.
Children had the opportunity to play the role of cabin crew assistant for several hours of the flight, feel like part of the team and try on the role of a real flight attendant.
During the voyage, after gaining altitude, the little travelers were able to take an inside look at the work of the crew and get acquainted with the peculiarities of the profession. The guys enthusiastically participated in all aspects of the flight: they made announcements over the loudspeaker, treated passengers to caramel and helped the flight attendants in servicing the flight.
For the most curious passengers, the flight attendants conducted mini-excursions around their workplace – the on-board flight attendant station – they showed and explained what tasks various types of equipment perform. As confirmation of their “official” experience as crew members, the little passengers were given commemorative badges.
This event allowed children to become more familiar with the profession of a flight attendant and arouse their interest in aviation.
“We hope that in the future the young crew assistants will join the ranks of professional pilots and flight attendants and become full members of the airline’s crew,” NordStar Airlines said.
In honor of Children's Day, little passengers of other airline flights operating on this day received memorable gifts – a branded bright lanyard for a phone as a symbol of travel, discovery and the first independent steps in the big world.
NordStar noted that the airline traditionally pays special attention to children on board, so that every child feels calm, confident and joyful during the flight, and strives to create an atmosphere in which young passengers not only spend time on the road, but get vivid impressions that stay with them for a long time.
