Lips also need protection: homemade balm with a UV filter – without parabens and overpayments

In spring, the sun is already quite active, which means that it is very important to protect the skin from ultraviolet radiation. Many people apply UV protection to their face, but forget about their lips, which are very vulnerable to photoaging. Ordinary “hygienic products” also do not always save you from the sun, but you can make good natural protection yourself. The news agency EAOMedia found a recipe for a balm that works like a natural sunscreen.

Homemade UV lip balm recipe:

Melt 1 teaspoon of beeswax in a water bath, add 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and 5 drops of raspberry seed oil – this is an excellent natural UV filter. Pour into clean jars and let harden.

Raspberry seed oil has an SPF of about 25–50, coconut oil intensely nourishes lips, and wax creates a protective film that retains moisture.

This natural remedy will not only keep your lips looking youthful, but will also make them juicy, nourished and moisturized. Store in the refrigerator for no more than 3 months, apply before going out into the sun or when needed.

Caution: Before using any natural products, make sure you are not allergic to the ingredients. It is recommended to consult a specialist.
