In Krasnoyarsk, employees of the regional Drug Control Department detained two local residents for attempted non-contact sale of a narcotic drug on a large scale.
The press service of the regional police said that the detainees, by prior agreement, got jobs as wholesale pawnbrokers in one of the online stores distributing prohibited substances. The men picked up the drugs in the suburbs of Krasnoyarsk and, according to preliminary information, sold them in small quantities in cities and districts of the region.
While transporting another batch of prohibited substances, the drug couriers' car was stopped by police on the street. Northern Highway. When examining the car, a bag containing a synthetic drug weighing about 100 grams was found under the seat. Also, during an examination of the men's phones, photographs of drug caches were revealed.

“When examining a site in Drokino, Emelyanovsky municipal district, investigators found a coffee glass containing hashish with a total weight of about 200 grams, placed for subsequent sale in a contactless manner. Currently, employees of the Drug Control Department are checking the men for involvement in committing other crimes. Both drug couriers were chosen as a preventive measure in the form of detention,” the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region clarified.
Based on this fact, two criminal cases were initiated under Part 3 of Art. 30, clauses “a” and “d”, part 4, art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal production, sale or transfer of narcotic drugs.” Those detained face up to 20 years in prison.
