Yenisei TGK became the winner of the prestigious All -Russian competition

Yenisei TGK (TGK-13) JSC (Siberian Generating Company unit in the Yenisei Siberia region) won the All-Russian contest “Business Flagmans: Dynamics, Responsibility-2024”, organized by the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP). The company won the nomination for the climatic project.

She was awarded award for the first climate project in Russia in the housing and communal services sector, which SGK registered in 2024. The company has been implementing the project to replace ineffective and non -ecological boiler houses in Krasnoyarsk since 2017 as part of the federal program “Clean Air”.

Today, out of 37, 36 boiler houses planned for closing, they stopped their work, and objects, including residential buildings, are transferred to the capacities of the Krasnoyarsk TPP-2 and TPP-3-sources with a more effective combined production and thermal energy equipped with modern environmental equipment. This made it possible to reduce carbon dioxide emissions from small heat sources, which also spread in the squat layer of the atmosphere, at the level of human life.

As a result of the work, the first 109 thousand carbon units were released by the unified Russian operator of the register, which corresponds to a confirmed volume of emissions of 109 thousand tons. The accuracy of the data entered in the data register passed the examination of the official body. Thus, the effectiveness of the environmental project of the company is recognized at the federal level.

This confirms that in the field of sustainable development we are under the right course, and the implementation of the company's projects makes a significant contribution to the improvement of the environmental situation of Krasnoyarsk, ”said Oleg Bubnovsky, General Director of the Yenisei TGK (TGK-13).

It should be noted that until 2031, the SGK plans to release another 142,610 carbon units, which together will confirm a decrease in emissions into the city’s atmosphere by more than 250 thousand tons of Co₂.

In Russia, the regulation of a reduction in carbon issue is carried out within the framework of the Federal Law “On the restriction of greenhouse gas emissions”. Since 2022, a register of carbon units has been operating – a single information system where environmental projects are recorded and their success is evaluated. The carbon unit is the result of the implementation of the climatic project and allows you to assess the volume of prevented carbon dioxide emissions.
