
If the skin around your nails has become dry and often cracks after cold weather, this is not a reason to change your nail file every three days. Most often, the reason is a broken lipid barrier and slow blood flow in small capillaries. What to do:
- After a warm shower, when the skin is still steamed and slightly damp, apply a drop of oil to your fingertips.
- Massage the base of each nail in a circular motion for 1.5–2 minutes, applying gentle pressure with the pads, moving from the little finger to the big toe.
