Pensioners get first treatment tickets from 2026. Departure is in days and prices have exploded

The first treatment tickets from 2026 were allocated to the county pension houses for capitalization. The full price of the tickets has increased compared to 2025, the granting conditions are those of previous years.

The first series of treatment tickets, long awaited by pensioners and insured persons from all over the country, has been distributed in the territory. Tickets are scarce and departure is in just a few days.

The Olt County Pension House was allocated 33 treatment tickets, which went on sale on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

Those interested in these first treatment tickets distributed in 2026 must be willing to leave quite quickly, because the presentation date at the resort is between April 27-29, 2026.

“The treatment tickets distributed in this series are in the treatment bases in the hotel units of the Societăță Comerciale de Tratament Balnear and recovery of work capacity – SC TBRCM SA.”stated the representatives of CJP Olt, through a press release.

The 33 tickets are distributed among the resorts as follows: 12 tickets in the Bala resort; 8 tickets in the Olănești resort; 6 tickets to the Amara resort; 4 tickets to the Buziaș resort; 3 tickets in the Pucioasa resort.

These tickets will be distributed by direct request of the people who have submitted applications and present themselves at the headquarters of our institution”also announced CJP Olt.

Who can request treatment tickets through the Pension House and how much they pay

The duration of the stay in the balneo-climatic resorts remained in 2026 at 16 days, of which 12 days spa treatment is also granted.

Requests started arriving at CJP Olt already in the first working days of January, it being rather unusual for the first series of tickets to reach the beneficiaries so late (in 2025, the tickets of the first series were distributed in February). Approximately 1,550 requests from pensioners and those insured in the public pension system have been collected so far.

Who benefits from treatment tickets

The following can benefit from these treatment tickets:

– pensioners of the public pension system;

– insured persons of the public pension system;

– the beneficiaries of the provisions of special laws that regulate the right to a spa treatment ticket through the public pension system;

– the spouse of the insured/pensioner of the public pension system who is not insured/pensioner of the public pension system;

– insured of the insurance system for work accidents and occupational diseases.

The condition imposed on all applicants from the categories mentioned above is to prove the existence of a medical condition that requires spa treatment.

How much is paid for treatment tickets

In the case of pensioners, the individual contribution is 50% of the total amount crude of pension rights, but not more than the full cost of the ticket (the full cost is between 3,480 lei and 3,688 lei, accommodation being in two- and three-star hotels).

In the case of insured persons, the contribution is 50% of the ticket value, if the gross monthly income is lower than the average gross salary (which in 2026 is 9,192 lei), otherwise the ticket is paid in full.

In 2025, the full cost of the ticket in TMRCB SA structures was between 3,156 lei and 3,348 lei.

At the level of the entire country, 114,000 treatment tickets have been approved for 2026, which will be granted according to the criteria that are approved annually. Every year, the first series have a smaller number of tickets distributed in the territory, being available stays in the TMRCB SA structures. After the organization of the auctions, accommodation structures belonging to private operators also appear in the list. This year, most likely the first treatment tickets in private structures will be available starting from the summer.
