
According to him, patrol police will live at the training grounds in shifts, and military personnel who have served in combat as part of the National Guard and the State Border Service will be involved in their training as instructors.
The changes will affect all departments, Klimenko noted. After the patrol police, it will probably be the turn of the regional police departments. In addition, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will offer demobilized veterans to continue serving in the police combat training system in terms of training and psychological stability.
The minister noted that the new response protocols will include the continued possibility of using weapons and ammunition against police officers.
“That is, every time a patrol goes out on a conditional hooliganism mission, it must be prepared for the fact that at least a grenade can be thrown at it,” added the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
