Giorgia Meloni, insulted on Russian television by the Kremlin's most virulent propagandist / Russian Ambassador summoned to Rome

The Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Antonio Tajani, announced on Tuesday the summoning of the Russian ambassador to Rome to protest against the “extremely serious and offensive” statements of the presenter Vladimir Soloviov on Russian television to Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni.
According to the Italian media, Soloviov called Meloni, in Italian, “the shame of the human race”, “wild animal”, “certified idiot”, “Giorgia the whore”, directly addressing the prime minister: “what a small, ugly and bad woman”, reports News.ro.
“This Meloni is a fascist creature who betrayed his voters, because he presented himself with completely different slogans,” he then continued in Russian.
“Betrayal is her second name, she even betrayed Trump, to whom she had previously sworn loyalty,” Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov also said.
The entire Italian political class, both the majority and the opposition, firmly condemned these statements.
Relations between Rome and Moscow have been strained since Russia started the war in Ukraine, with Italy offering unconditional support to Kiev.
