Kravchenko said that the patrol crew arrived in response to a call about shooting. On the spot they saw the wounded: a child, a man and a woman in need of emergency assistance. According to investigators, there were other people nearby, including another child.
“A boy with a gunshot wound asks law enforcement officers not to save him, but to help his father. This is a manifestation of the child’s incredible courage. But the patrol crew, having their service firearms and all the legal grounds for their use, actually runs away from the scene,” said the Prosecutor General.
According to him, due to the inaction of police officers, the armed man continued to move unhindered along the street and shoot at defenseless passers-by.
