Marcel Ciolacu, in rent with Sorina Docuz in a penthouse in Herăstrău purchased by a company from Buzău

Former Prime Minister and PSD leader Marcel Ciolacu moved with Sorina Docuz to a 350 sqm penthouse in Herăstrău, writes G4Media. The house belongs to a company in Buzău owned by an American company with non-public shareholding, whose administrator says that the two pay rent.

• The penthouse where Ciolacu and Docuz live and three other apartments in the One Herăstrău complex were purchased by the Real Estate Key SRL company from Buzău, in September 2025, for 8.13 million lei, writes G4Media.
• “I pay rent”, the administrator of the company, Gheorghe Roșu, told G4Media, but he did not say who is the owner of the company that bought the apartments in the One Herăstrău complex, nor what rent the former PSD president pays.
• The rent for such a penthouse is, according to the data on the developer's website, around 15,000 euros per month, plus VAT.

“Are you investigating me or what?”

Real Estate Key SRL, based in Buzău, is the Romanian subsidiary of the American company Allied Capital LLC, registered in 2025 in Wyoming, an American state that allows the anonymization of the legal owner of a company and the registration of companies through a registrar. Everything is done online, no initial capital is needed, no taxes are paid to the state for the establishment of the company, writes G4 Media.

The branch in Romania was opened in September 2025, the declared field of activity is the purchase and sale of own real estate, and at the declared address in Buzău there is a kiosk for fishing tackle and one for auto parts.

The administrator of the company is Gheorghe Roșu, from Buzău. Contacted by G4Media, Gheorghe Roșu refused to say who is the owner of the US parent company: “Are you investigating me or what?”.

“Mr. Ciolacu and Sorina Docuz moved into an extremely luxurious block”

G4 Media writes that eight days after its establishment, Real Estate Key SRL bought four homes in the One Herăstrău Towers complex: three apartments and a penthouse. According to the developer's public data, prices in the complex range from around 350,000 euros for standard apartments to more than 1.5 million euros for penthouses.

Sorin Constantinescu, Romanian entrepreneur in the field of gambling and influencer, said in a live on his YouTube channel that Marcel Ciolacu and Sorina Docuz moved into a penthouse in Herăstrău: “It's the first time you hear it live with us. Mr. Ciolacu and Sorina Docuz moved into an extremely luxurious block. We don't say who built the block because we're not interested, but it's in an exclusive area of Bucharest. It's in Herastrau. He bought one for himself and the second one for his first marriage. I don't know if he bought or rented an apartment there. He didn't buy it from a developer, he probably bought it from an intermediary.”
