Sorin Grindeanu and Ilie Bolojan, live interviews tonight, an hour apart / Confrontation on two different televisions, before the PSD vote

The president of the PSD, Sorin Grindeanu, will be present on Sunday evening in the Antena 3 studio from 21:00. From 22:00, the prime minister and leader of the PNL, Ilie Bolojan, will give an interview to B1 TV, according to the announcements made by the two on social networks.
- HotNews will transmit LIVETEXT the main statements made by the two
The remote confrontation takes place on the eve of the PSD internal vote. On Monday, from 5 p.m., the social democrats will decide whether they will withdraw their support for Ilie Bolojan, whom they have constantly criticized in recent months.
Since today, the number 2 of the PSD, Claudiu Manda, has told his party colleagues that Ilie Bolojan will no longer lead the Government, accusing the leader of the liberals of having violated the two red lines of the social democrats.
The latest exchange of lines between Sorin Grindeanu and Ilie Bolojan took place this very weekend. After the prime minister accused the social democrats of playing a “double game” and criticized their attitude towards the reforms, the PSD leader mocked the PNL leader's measures and declared that “it's very nice to appear to be the great reformer of Romania, but in reality things are completely different”.
“When I opened the state pantry, I found some rats gnawing at the provisions and I put the light on them. And that was disturbing,” said Bolojan, on Friday, on Radio Romania Actualităită.
Grindeanu's reply came a day later, in a press conference in which he criticized the Government's intention to list certain state-owned companies on the stock exchange. However, the possibility of listing some companies has been analyzed by the state for several years, and this is even a PNRR milestone.
“The reform of profitable state companies, let's sell them, is this reform? This is robbery. This is ratism. To sell profitable companies in a period of economic crisis, this is the real ratism,” the PSD president accused.
PNL and USR, meetings “in coordination” during the PSD referendum
In the context of the consultation announced in PSD, PNL and USR decided to organize “coordination” meetings on Monday. The PNL meeting will take place from 18:00, in Modrogan, and the USR meeting will take place at 18:30, at Vila Lac, according to HotNews sources.
The two parties decided three weeks ago that they will no longer form a government alliance with the PSD in the event that the social democrats trigger a political crisis.
Ilie Bolojan was at the PNL headquarters in Bucharest on Wednesday evening, where he told the liberals that he does not intend to resign as prime minister, HotNews sources said.
Claduiu Manda said on Thursday that the PSD will withdraw its ministers from the Government in the scenario where Ilie Bolojan will refuse to give up the position of prime minister if the social democrats decide not to continue with him at the head of the Government.
PSD sources tell HotNews that if Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan does not resign even after the social democrats withdraw their ministers from the Government, then there are high chances of a censure motion in Parliament for PSD to vote, thus forcing Ilie Bolojan's departure.
