Ukraine bombings are 'horrible' Donald Trump has spoken

Trump was asked to comment on the overnight missile and drone strikes on Kiev, Odessa and the Dnieper River during a call with reporters before flying to Las Vegas.
“It's terrible”
“I think it's terrible,” he said, without elaborating. Later asked if he believed Russia's war against Ukraine could continue for years, Trump replied that the war would never have broken out if he had been president at the time, but added that he “hoped it would end soon.”
In his next statement, he said that the war talks were making progress, adding that “he would like (Russia and Ukraine) to come to an agreement” because many people were dying. However, he stressed that he was focused on ending the war with Iran.
On the night from Wednesday to Thursday, the Russian military used 44 missiles and 659 drones in an attack on Ukraine, the Air Force said. Air defenses shot down 31 missiles and 636 drones. A total of 12 missiles and 20 drones hit targets in 26 locations, and downed objects fell in 25 locations. At least 18 people were killed and 117 injured.
