FC Argeș – CFR Cluj didn't offer a half with a lot of football, but it did offer a tumultuous phase in extra time. At one stage in the visitors' box, Robert Moldoveanu received a yellow card for simulation from Istvan Kovacs after the “central” had already whistled for a foul in the attack before the ball reached the Pitesti striker.

At the last stage of the first half, Mihai Popa came out on a cross and hit Garutti. The ball reached Robert Moldoveanu, Mihai Popa intervened and “took” his legs with his hand. Robert Moldoveanu fell, he showed that he is not asking for anything. Istvan Kovacs showed him the yellow card, although the “central” had whistled for a foul on Garutti's intervention on Mihai Popa.

The strange phase from FC Argeș – CFR Cluj. Ilie Dumitrescu: “I didn't understand this phase. Why do you still give a yellow card?”

The experts in the studio agreed that the decision to foul the goalkeeper was correct, but asked a question: “If it's a foul on the goalkeeper, why do you still give a yellow card?”

“I didn't understand this phase. If there's a foul on the goalkeeper, why do you still give a yellow card? I don't understand. Istvan Kovacs was positioned very well. 100% foul on the goalkeeper”

“I see a foul on the goalkeeper. That's how I see it. The first replay builds better. That's what he showed. As Mister also said, why do you give a foul? He wants to say that he didn't ask for anything. Moldoveanu waves his hands that he doesn't want anything and receives a yellow card”, said Ionel Danciulescu on the Fotbal Club show on Digi Sport.
