Nicușor Dan's call to the Bessarabians from Romania, before the parliamentary elections in the Republic of Moldova

President Nicușor Dan described the parliamentary elections in the Republic of Moldova as “a crucial moment for the future of its citizens” and urged “all the Bessarabians in Romania to vote in one of the 23 sections organized in 14 cities in the country”.
“The connection between Romania and the Republic of Moldova is not only a historical one-it is a living connection, built every day through people, families and common values,” said Nicușor Dan, on Wednesday, in a post on platform X.
He said that Sunday's elections “represent a crucial moment”.
“The parliamentary elections in the Republic of Moldova, which will take place on Sunday, September 28, represent a crucial moment for the future of its citizens. I urge all the Bessarabians in Romania to vote in one of the 23 sections organized in 14 cities in the country,” added President Nicușor Dan.
23 polling stations in Romania
The sections will be organized in 14 cities and will be open between 07:00 and 21:00.
“The Moldovan citizens established with the permanent living or temporarily in Romania will be able to vote on 23 polling stations opened in 14 cities (Bucharest, Iași, Cluj, Timișoara, Craiova, Brașov, Sibiu, Oradea, Baia Mare, Târgu Mureș, Suceava, Bacău, Galați, in Romania, Facebook.
According to the Embassy, the citizens of the Republic of Moldova will be able to vote at any polling station, presenting one of the following documents:
- The identity card or the identity card of the citizen of the Republic of Moldova (valid);
- Provisional identity card, provisional (valid) identity card;
- Passport to the citizen of the Republic of Moldova (including expired).
