Between June 12-29, 2025, the U21 European Championship in Slovakia will be held. Romania will participate in this final tournament, being placed in Group A, together with Spain, Italy and the hosts Slovakia.

Aphthous fever is an extremely contagious viral disease that affects animals with split hooves, especially cattle, eggs, pigs and goats. The disease is not dangerous to people usually, although it can rarely infect people in a benign manner. The major problem is economical and zosanitary, due to massive losses in the agricultural sector and commercial restrictions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) has issued travel warnings for Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia, in the context of confirming some outbreaks. Thus, the restrictions applied to the territory of Hungary have been updated, while for the Czech transportation of animals or raw materials from them they must transit certain border points. And several restrictions have been imposed in Slovakia and in Slovakiaaccording to news.ro.
