Another Russian drone has entered Romania's airspace. The residents of Tulcea received a Ro-Alert message
On the night of April 16-17, the forces of the Russian Federation executed a new series of drone attacks on civilian and infrastructure targets in Ukraine, near the border, in the northern area of the Chilia arm.

The National Military Command Center notified the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations in order to establish alerting measures for the population in the north of Tulcea county, a RO-ALERT message being sent at 00:43.
“Air defense systems monitored two air targets that evolved in the border area. One of the targets entered the airspace of our country, radar contact with it was lost 16 km South East of Chilia Veche, above an uninhabited area. The air alert ended at 02.48. A team of MApN is prepared to leave, this morning, on a research mission in the area We strongly condemn the actions of the Russian Federation that endanger regional security, constituting a serious violation of international law.”announces MApN.
Citizens are asked to respect the recommendations of the authorities and follow the official information sent through institutional channels.
This week alone, two more nights were recorded with alerts issued after groups of drones were detected north of the town of Vâlcove, also requiring the raising of F-16 planes and the passage of anti-aircraft systems into firing positions. The frequency of these events is increasing, with the Ministry of National Defense already reporting 15 situations generated by Russian attacks near the border in the first two months of this year, in 10 of which it was necessary to activate the Air Police service to monitor the national space.
