Special operation veteran from Khatanga Oleg Chuprin, after returning home, organized the processing of venison. The man had no entrepreneurial experience, but the “OWN Business” program helped, Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov said on social networks.
The region joined the federal project last year. The first stream took place in Krasnoyarsk in December 2025. This week the second stream started in Minusinsk in the south of the region. Participants from the southern territories were joined by veterans from Khakassia.
Over five days, fighters and their family members learn the basics of entrepreneurship, develop business plans, learn about taxes, visit businesses and learn from the experience of existing businessmen. A separate module is devoted to federal and regional support measures. At the final, everyone will present their project and receive a certificate.

The program provides a step-by-step starting algorithm, information about government support and mentors from among entrepreneurs. As Roman Martynov, head of the region’s agency for the development of small and medium-sized businesses, noted, the educational modules are structured so that everyone develops their own idea and receives a business plan ready for implementation.
The project was organized with the support of United Russia, the SME Corporation, Support of Russia and the Defenders of the Fatherland Foundation. The governor promised to scale the practice so that it would become available to all members of the SVO who want to do business after returning to civilian life.
