Chinese tanker forced to retreat in the Strait of Hormuz. He didn't break the blockade

US President Donald Trump announced a blockade of the Strait of Hormuz on Sunday after weekend peace talks in Islamabad between the US and Iran failed to end in an agreement. As the American Command of the Armed Forces reported on Tuesday, no ship managed to get through during the first 24 hours of the blockade. It also said that the blockade mission was carried out by “10,000 American sailors, marines and airmen along with over a dozen warships and dozens of planes.”

On Wednesday, another message appeared, in which the central command said that nine units “complied with the order of American forces to turn around and return towards an Iranian port or coastal area.”
