IT company ASTON acquired licenses for the domestic software production platform “Sfera” (IT holding T1), as an alternative other foreign services for development management. The transition was implemented as part of the internal import substitution strategy.
The company uses key platform modules for design and development management. Sphere.Architecture – for automation of architectural functions, Sphere.API Registry – for designing and storing APIs, Sphere.Tasks – for project management, Sphere.Knowledge – for storing corporate information, Sphere.Pulse – for operational reporting. The solution included tools for collaboration on code, quality assurance and software testing – Sphere.Code, Sphere.Functional testing and others. AI agents are also built into the platform.
The sphere will be used by 2,500 company employees. The solution united teams in a single system and simplified software development processes.
“ASTON’s transition to a domestic platform demonstrates the maturity of the Russian IT solutions market“, noted Vasily Sautin, commercial director for products of the NOTA vendor (part of the T1 IT holding).
“For us, switching to a new solution is not just a replacement of tools, but an opportunity to build development processes in a new way. As an IT company, we cannot afford to compromise on reliability and functionality. At the same time, the built-in AI functions in the platform are also important to us.“, — confirmed ASTON representative.
