US negotiators “don't have time for Ukraine”, says Zelensky. The word he used to describe Trump's emissaries

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said, in an interview in the German media, on Tuesday that Washington's negotiators “don't have time for Ukraine” because of the war against Iran, being “constantly in discussions” with Tehran's representatives, reports AFP.
Speaking to public broadcaster ZDF, Ukraine's leader said US negotiators Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, who helped mediate talks between Kiev and Moscow, were now “constantly in talks with Iran”.
Volodymyr Zelensky described the two US envoys as “pragmatic” and said they were trying to “get more attention from Putin to end the war” in Ukraine.
However, he added, “if the United States does not put pressure on Putin (…) and only engages in a gentle dialogue with the Russians, then they will no longer be afraid.”
Negotiations on Ukraine, postponed due to the war in the Middle East
Washington-brokered negotiations to end the war in Ukraine have been delayed by the outbreak of war in the Middle East, where the United States and Israel launched a military campaign against Iran on February 28. The last talks between representatives of Moscow and those of Kiev took place in February in Geneva.
Zelenskiy suggested that it is not the only challenge for Ukraine, for which the US arms supply situation has become “a big problem” in the context of the war in the Middle East.
“If the war continues, there will be fewer weapons for Ukraine. It is essential, especially in terms of air defense materials,” he said.
On Tuesday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky met with the Chancellor of Germany in Berlin, where the two signed a defense cooperation agreement that provides for raising bilateral relations to the level of a strategic partnership, according to The Kyiv Independent. The German side has pledged to provide additional support in key areas, including air defense, long-range weapons, drones and ammunition.
