In Kansk, a 30-year-old woman decided to assign herself the status of a driver using a fake license purchased and found herself under criminal charges. This was reported to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

As police established, last year the woman began training at a driving school, but due to a conflict with the teacher, she terminated the contract. As a result, she did not receive a certificate of completion and did not take exams at the State Traffic Inspectorate.

However, she did not give up the idea of driving. Through an advertisement on the Internet, a resident of Kansk ordered a fake driver’s license with open categories “B, B1, M”, paying 75 thousand rubles for them. A week later the document was delivered by courier. Later she bought a car.

The violation came to light on the eve of the New Year, when the woman was stopped by a traffic police crew. When checking documents, inspectors doubted the authenticity of the ID, both based on external signs and when checking against databases. It turned out that the specified license number belongs to a resident of another region.

The counterfeit was seized and the woman was detained. A criminal case was opened against the offender under Part 3 of Art. 327 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation for the acquisition and use of a knowingly forged document.

The court found her guilty and sentenced her to five months of restriction of freedom. During this period, she is obliged to regularly report to the supervisory authority, not leave the Kansk Municipal District and not change her place of residence without the consent of the criminal-executive inspection.
