24-year-old driver, caught drunk driving with three children in the car: “I drank a bottle of whiskey and a few beers”
A young 24-year-old driver, who had obtained his driver's license only a few months ago, was stopped by the police after he was found driving under the influence of alcohol on DN13, in Brașov county.

The man was pulled over on Sunday evening, outside the town of Măieruș, by a traffic police crew, following a routine check that revealed an extremely serious situation.
According to the police, the driver was visibly under the influence of alcohol, and the breathalyzer test indicated a value of 0.97 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air, a level that exceeds the criminal limit.
The representatives of the Brașov County Police stated that the intervention came in time, before the situation turned into a possible tragedy, especially since there were several passengers in the car.
In the car were the man's partner, two little girls aged 1 and 3, as well as a 15-year-old minor, all members of the family.
In front of the police, the young man admitted to drinking alcohol, declaring: “I drank a bottle of whiskey and a few beers.”
A criminal case has been opened against him, and investigations are ongoing.
