A different game awaits us than the one that was at the last one of us in the championship, in the last stage.
They are in better shape than then, they have important players back in attack, there are players who have returned to good form and I expect a very, very complicated and different game to the one that was in the last stage.
Next is a team with a very good coach who has been there for almost three years. You see a lot of things, they have their concept, they don't deviate from it, but we hope that tomorrow night we will be the ones to win the game again because we really need it.
We are coming off a defeat that personally hurt me a lot, but we are moving forward and thinking about the victory tomorrow night. If we don't win, it won't even make sense to talk about the title anymore. Nobody's goal is the title, absolutely nobody's, but I'm still convinced that it can be won. At the balance that exists in this play-off and the points that a team gains or loses, the championship can still be won.
– Daniel Pancu, CFR Cluj coach
We hope to get the first win, there are some players in a return to form, Karamoko is better, Pușcaș feels better, we have more options. There are 4 very important matches, after the one against CFR Cluj there will be 3 at home, with U Cluj, Craiova and Rapid.
We have expectations for this season, the first objective was achieved, we entered the play-offs. We had problems, some players were injured. Of course it's not easy, the results are not good, but just like when we win I don't want to fly, when we lose I don't want to be weak either.
FR is a tough opponent. In recent years, they were playing in European cups, we were struggling. This season we beat them, we remember Soro's goal, it was an important victory for us. We have to win away from home as well.
