Dinamo's president also commented on the information that appeared in the last few days about Al-Wahda's interest in Zeljko Kopic.
According to him, from the information he heard, the formation from the United Arab Emirates would not have submitted a concrete offer for the Croatian coach.
At the same time, Nicolescu explained that Dinamo was prepared for a possible change on the technical bench.
The official revealed that he received more than 40 proposals for coaches, and the first three options analyzed by the club were foreign technicians. A Romanian coach was also among the five names on the management's list.
“He was very important like him (no – Zeljko Kopic) to feel good here. I hope he felt protected, supported, loved. Everyone was with him. There were probably some offers and probably from here the discussion, but I think the way we reacted, creating this ecosystem, was the right one.
We've tried to change so much that everyone adapts to his style, everyone sees the performance through his eyes, and everyone pulls in the same direction. I think that has been seen in the last two years.
