In four months of operation, CARMINE SKY achieved 85% of downed targets. The unit's operators use interceptor drones and turret-mounted machine guns.
Deputy commander of the direct air defense forces of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuriy Cherevyashenko, in a conversation with Suspilny, said that private air defense operates under the leadership of the defense forces.
“We consult with these enterprises, we recommend them. We have developed algorithms and cover schemes. Depending on the object, we suggest: what should be on the object, how much of it should be on the object in order to effectively protect it. And the private owners themselves understand what they can bring in for improvement,” he explained.
