The head of the Russian Ministry of Labor, Anton Kotyakov, said that he sees no point in legislating a four-day working week. RIA Novosti reports this.

According to the minister, the current labor legislation already allows flexible regulation of the employment regime. He explained that now workers and employers can use different employment formats. These include combining remote work with visiting the office, a completely remote format, working according to the number of hours or piecework.

Therefore, according to Kotyakov, strict legislative reinforcement of a four-day working week is not required now.
