The number of active individual employment contracts registered in the ReGes/Revisal computer system was, at the end of September 2025, 6,620,722, 87,729 fewer compared to the beginning of the year.
The official data appear in the statistics recently published by the Ministry of Labour, Family, Youth and Social Solidarity and consulted by Agerpres.
Less than 5.7 million active employees
Regarding the number of active employees, it decreased by 24,703 people, from 5,707,364 employees – in January, to 5,682,661 employees – in September 2025.
Of the total number of individual employment contracts registered in the General Register of Employees, on September 30, 2025, more than 93% were of indefinite duration, respectively 6,169,243, and the rest were of fixed duration (451,479 CIM).
At the same time, 5,427,485 contracts were concluded for an indefinite period, for full time, and 741,758 provided for part-time work.
