Two important foreign footballers came secretly to Bucharest to attend Mircea Lucescu's funeral

Dmitro Cigrinski and Tomas Hubschman are two important former footballers. Two impressive images, from Mircea Lucescu's funeral, which define the ultimate gratitude.

In all these days of sadness we saw many things in which the emotion became bright, writes Dan Udrea in an editorial on GOLAZO.

There were two moments, Thursday lunchtime and Friday morning, that were somehow hidden among so many important moments. And which, it is my belief that I do not impose on anyone, I can give the definition for what the ultimate gratitude means.

The Ukrainian Dmitro Cigrinski and the Czech Tomas Hubschman, two footballers who were coached by Lucescu, made gestures as if they are no longer done nowadays. They came, without announcing publicly, without making a noise, to express their thanks on the spot to someone who helped them in life.

To see the Ukrainian Cigrinski walking with his backpack on his back, among the people of Bucharest, on the alleys towards the National Arena, after which his eyes become red from tears when he was asked by the press to speak, this is a gesture of a normal man. How many stars today, regardless of field, remain in the realm of the natural?

The Czech Hubschman came all the same, solitary, modest and dignified. He arrived at the church on Friday and slipped in among the others, then kept the candle lit and his head in the ground throughout the service.
