The United Arab Emirates have concluded an agreement with Israel to send urgent humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, where the offensive of the Israeli army conducts – it was informed on Wednesday in a message published by you, the official Emirates press agency.

The head of diplomacy Zea Mohammed Bin Zajed al-Nahjan “conducted a telephone conversation with the Israeli foreign minister Gideon Saar, which led to an agreement allowing to provide urgent humanitarian aid from the United Arab Emirates”-said in the announcement.

This help will satisfy “at the first stage food needs about 15,000 civilians in the Gaza Strip.”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced on Sunday night to the immediate restoration of the supplies of humanitarian aid blocked from the beginning of March to the entire Gaza Zone. Israel will provide “the population of basic amounts of food to prevent the development of hunger in the Gaza Strip”, because such a crisis “could threaten further actions to defeat Hamas” – wrote in the statement of the Prime Minister's office.
