IT holding T1 launches artificial intelligence training for almost 30 thousand specialists

IT holding T1 has initiated a large-scale corporate training program for more how 26,000 employees.
The project is aimed at creating a culture of conscious use of artificial intelligence (AI) in the company, where everyone will be able to use technology to improve their own efficiency. The training covers the entire holding – from top management to line specialists.
Artificial intelligence is transforming the labor market in Russia. The demand for specialists with AI competencies increased by 18% over the past year. At the same time, 55% of companies expect that skills in working with artificial intelligence technologies will be mandatory for most office professions as early as 2028. In response to the challenge of the times, the T1 IT holding launched a training program for all its employees.
Thanks to the project, it is planned to increase the level of automation in the company, reduce operating costs and increase process efficiency. Requests for training also come from employees. According to market research, 73% of professionals believe that AI allows them to complete tasks faster, and 60% say it frees up time to work on strategic areas.
The educational program includes webinars with theory and practical classes. Participants master external AI services and internal solutions of the T1 IT holding, for example, Innocode. This is a tool for automating routine operations in the development process: company employees use it to generate code, tests and documentation. The effectiveness is confirmed by metrics: thanks to the solution, the development speed at all stages increases by 30%. One of the stages of training is creating your own AI agents for specific tasks.
“Today AI is a tool that affects the competitiveness of business. It is important to learn how to use it effectively and safely. We invest in employee competencies to ensure business sustainability and development in the new technological reality. This is a systematic and long-term project that helps not just follow trends, but get ahead of them,” noted Ekaterina Kolesnikova, Deputy General Director of IT Holding T1 for Personnel.
The training program is being integrated into the strategy of the major AI transformation of the T1 IT holding and is already becoming part of the corporate culture, which is aimed at continuous professional development.
