“Your colleague Lilia Sandulesa recently declassified that she got married,” the journalist addressed the singer.
“I’m very happy for her,” answered 67-year-old Rotaru. “This topic is not for me, I know for sure, because it’s been more than 20 years since my husband passed away. And I don’t even think about it.”
According to the singer, she is now busy with her family and career.
“I have a family, I have something to do, I have a profession, songs, viewers. I’m just thinking about it,” the artist added.
What is known about Rotaru’s late husband
In 1987, the singer married banker Vladimir Pigach. In the same year, a daughter, Anastasia, was born into the family. Pigach died in 2005 from a stroke.
“We watched the movie “Empire of the Wolves,” I remember it for the rest of my life. We finished watching the movie, he went to the bathroom, as usual before bed. And I just lay down on the sofa and dozed off a little. I’m waiting for him to come out. I woke up because I felt such a cold in my soul…” admitted Rotaru Jr.
According to her, she went to the bathroom and started knocking on the door, but her husband did not respond.
“I couldn’t open the door, I called the security guard from below… While we broke the door, while we called an ambulance, it arrived, but there was already a massive stroke. Unfortunately, they couldn’t do anything…” the singer said.
She added that her husband had “some problems with partners” and “he was nervous.”
“But he never shared, he digested everything within himself. Everything negative… He never talked about it. He carried it all inside himself,” Rotaru concluded.
