In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, over the past week, 1,514 people turned to doctors with complaints of suction of ticks, 391 of which were reported in Rospotrebnadzor.
In total, since the beginning of the season of tick activity in the region, 5,989 victims of meetings with them have been officially registered.
“Studies have shown that the infection of these arthropods with a tick -borne encephalitis virus was 2.0 %, borrelia – 51.4 %, anaplasmes – 5.1 %, and 6.1 %,” the Rospotrebnadzor said.

Epidemiologists ask residents to observe personal prevention measures and, after walking, carefully inspect themselves, their companions and pets. And to protect against tick -borne infections, the most effective measure is vaccination.
